Equipe provide unrivalled independent, professional and comprehensive vocational training and continual assessment to all stakeholders in the geotechnical industry.
Their courses include Soil and Rock Description Workshops, Geotechnical Foundation Design, IOSH Safe Supervision of Geotechnical Sites and IOSH Avoiding Danger from Underground services.
First Steps
Founded in 2000 by chartered geologists Dr. Michael de Freitas and Dr. Christine Butenuth to help young geologists find their first employment. Courses, all approved by the Geological Society of London, are routinely provided to train in the logging of soils and rocks, the geology for construction techniques, physical hydrogeology and mentoring for CGeol, both for individuals and in house. Personal training is also provided in the areas of reading geological maps and writing geological reports, the creation of ground models (available through Thomas Telford via the ICE website) and outlining the mechanic of soil and rock masses.
