An exciting position has become available for a full time Geotechnical Engineer based in Maldon, Essex. The successful candidate will earn £26,000 to £36,000 depending on experience.
Role Requirements
• It is expected that you would have a relevant degree and a minimum of 2 to 5 years relevant field and office experience.
• A full clean driving license will be required and you are available to work away from home for short and long periods of time.
• Full technical and health & safety training will be provided were necessary.
Role Responsibilities
• Site supervision of trial pits, cable percussive, rotary & window sampling drilling rigs (all in house) logging of soils & rock samples to BS5930, together with factual reporting.
• You will be responsible for short & long term monitoring of slopes, gas and ground water regimes on infrastructural projects, together with the database management.
