A vacancy has become available within our clients fieldwork team in their Sudbury office. The successful candidates will undertake a diverse range of site based insitu testing.

The role will be diverse and will require an interest in geotechnical fieldwork. The role includes a range of outdoor site based tests including but not limited to:
• Plate Load Tests.
• CBR determinations using a variety of equipment.
• Groundwater sampling and Gas monitoring.
• Soakaway/infiltration testing.
• Dynamic Sampling / Windowless Sample Drilling

Prior experience with insitu soil testing is desirable but not essential, as additional training will be provided where necessary. The ability to tow a trailer (B+E) is desirable.

The fieldwork activities will require lone working and a personal pride in your work, a high degree of reliability and trustworthiness are vital attributes. An ability to self-manage is also seen as a necessary feature of the role.
