The Geotechnical Operator will be hands on in the day-to-day geotechnical operations and engineering projects including the following activities to deliver excellence:
The Geotechnical Operator is responsible for the preparation, set-up, testing, and maintenance of Geotechnical equipment which includes various Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) systems, vibrocore and seabed sampling tools to acquire geotechnical data offshore.
Execution of equipment deployment, operation, and recovery
Acquisition and initial processing of high-quality geotechnical data to support the Geotechnical Engineers.
Quality assurance and quality control of geotechnical data and samples
Support the equipment team with testing, maintenance, and development of geotechnical equipment portfolio
Ideally located close to one of our regional headquarters, the operator will spend most of their work time offshore, with the occasional mix of workshop and remote working. Travel between locations is required as well as offshore time during project execution. Work will be worldwide.
