Our client is actively seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with 2 to 5 years relevant industry experience, to continue their career in our team in the SE.
The Role:
Responsible for assisting with site investigation work predominantly in the South East and London area as directed by the Project Manager or other project staff.
All project work must be carried out with due diligence, adhered to by the RSK procedures & completed within the given cost budgets and time scales agreed.
Good communication is required to inform/liaise with other project staff and sometimes the client periodically with updates & any issues raised.
Assisting in the undertaking Phase 1 desk studies
Liaising with clients, engineering supervisors and subcontractors
Setting up and organising ground investigation works
Supervising intrusive investigation activities such as drilling, trial pitting and in-situ testing
Keeping accurate field records for tasks performed
Managing and collating site data using company software systems
Soil and rock logging and laboratory scheduling
Report writing
Helping to promote a safe working environment in accordance with company Health and Safety rules
